As far as I know, only Gautama Buddha arrived at the conclusion about it that it is not there. But he had to retreat for his own reasons. Anyway, no one can hang on to that, either way. If it is true, being aware of it can make the living much more effortless. But only a superstitious one can accept that theory.
Here in my part of the earth the period I have been living, people of modern science have a group called Logical Aruement (YukthiVada). They say God is not there and challenge theists to prove God is there as if they have disproved in some way that God is not there!
